Bitcoin Daily Active Addresses are 3 Times More than Ethereum Addresses
Although with the number of addresses with real crypto coins in them Ethereum surpasses Bitcoin, the first crypto asset still is the most popular crypto in the list of the top crypto assets.
As on-chain market analyst Glassnode reported data shows, Bitcoin has over 3 times more daily active addresses than Ethereum, 11 times more than Litecoin & 140 times more than Ripple.
In addition, the number of new BTC addresses that get created on daily basis is over 5 times more than of Ethereum. The day following the Bitcoin halving, new BTC addresses reached over 470,000 in 24 hours. By way of comparison, Ethereum is increasing by only 90,000 new addresses on daily basis.
The number of addresses that hold more than 0.1 BTC has reached more than 3.05 million, and the amount of addresses with more than 1 BTC reached more than 815K.
