HTC may be experiencing financial difficulties, but this did not prevent it from exploring new growth opportunities. One of the interesting areas to which the company was guided is the decision to create a smartphone with blockchain support, called Exodus.

HTC recently revealed that the announcement of the event for the Exodus model will take place on October 22, in less than 10 days. The manufacturer revealed the news through a new Instagram page created specifically for the upcoming device.

The crypto phone will basically serve as a very secure hardware wallet for cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum.

The phone’s software will be based on Android, but with added security protocols and applications designed to handle the necessary encryption for secure token handling. The phone will cost about $ 1000.
