First Blockchain Club has been established in Muscat, Oman Sultanate. It was organized by a number of government institutions, in the wake of the success of the recent Blockchain Symposium.

In the presence of the founding members and a group of interested parties  there was held the first meeting of the club at the Cultural Club.

The meeting discussed the establishing regulations of the club, also the ways of activating this new unit to make it an educational centre and platform for development in this technology. Expecting that the club will strat its activities in the coming period under the Cultural Club.

The chief executive officer of the State General Reserve Fund, Abdulsalam bin Mohammed al Murshidi announced about the president of the Blockchain Club in Oman, who will be Sayyid Taimur bin Asa’ad al Said.
