Crypto Facilities (Kraken subsidiary) has obtained a UK MTF license, becoming the 1st crypto firm to get this kind of license.
With this license, the firm an option to reach new customers around Europe, broadening the list of its offered products.
At present, Kraken Futures provides futures contracts priced in USD on BTC, ETH, XRP, LTC, as well as BCH.
As Jesse Powell, CEO & co-founder of Kraken mentioned, they have obtained this license as the mission of Kraken is to make cryptocurrency available for everyone worldwide.
He noted that for the 1st time this license will give experienced investors an option to gain access to cryptocurrency derivatives in Europe. He also added that with the growth of the participants’ number, the liquidity will also grow, which will secure a better experience for all the investors.
