Ethereum Co-Founder: “I’d love to help China Get expert in Ethereum technology.”

 

Joseph Lubin Ethereum co-founder & founder of Consensys believes that China’s Central Bank Digital Currency will be interoperable with other crypto coins and tokens, including Ethereum.

In an interview with Forbes, Lubin noted:

“I assume it’s going to be exactly what Chinese leadership thinks is most beneficial to Chinese leadership. Hopefully that is also open & we can interoperate with it, but I don’t know.”

In addition, Ethereum co-founder mentioned that we’d like that China took part in the Ethereum ecosystem more, stressing the point that Ethereum is the most powerful blockchain technology & quite “positive virus” to insert in the minds of people.

What’s more, Lubin shared his expectations on China continuing to undermine status of the United States dollar as the world reserve currency. At the same time, he noted that China’s CBCD will make just a little difference in this regard. He emphasized the fact that China & Russia are working on to carry out business without the usage of the United States dollar.

Answering to the question about if Lubin sees a world where people will purchase bread with crypto yuan in Nebraska, he said:

“What is it going to be next year & 5 years from now? China has the vector & it’ll do what it can as quickly as it can.”
