HOFA GALLERY Will Allow Cryptocurrency Payments At Exhibitions In UK And USA
According to the recent reports HOFA, one of the leading players in the field of fine arts, will support cryptocurrency payments during two exhibitions in London and Los Angeles at the end of this year after signing a deal with payment company blockchain.
HOFA Gallery offers a wide range of services to meet the needs of both residential and corporate clients. HOFA, or the house of fine arts, decided to support cryptocurrency payments after numerous requests received from clients for more than a year. Art connoisseurs will be able to use eight cryptocurrencies during their transactions: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), Bitcoin Gold (BTG), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), Dash (DAS) and Basic Attention Token (BAT).
Using a block system is a distributed blockchain registration technology, where cryptocurrencies can reduce transaction fees, shorten transaction times and increase security, which is a serious problem in the visual arts industry.
The HOFA collection has works by several contemporary artists, such as Hunt Slonem, Stefano Bombardieri and Richard Orlinsky. Prices of works in the gallery start from 5000 dollars and can reach 320 000 dollars for one piece. Later the gallery will also allow crypto-shopping at the first exhibition of its new branch in Los Angeles from mid-October to mid-November.
