HYPERLEDGER HAS LAUNCHED A NEW TOOL FOR BLOCKCHAIN DEVELOPERS
Blockchain consortium Hyperledger has launched a new tool for developers – modular cryptographic library Ursa for sharing.
Hyperledger consortium announced that the Ursa library, a repository of “proven” cryptocurrency implementations, is designed to simplify the work of developers and avoid duplication of effort.
In addition to the fact that developers will not need to work on the same code in parallel, the creators of the library hope that this will help to increase the security of development.
Today the library hosts 2 subprojects: Base Crypto library, where there are available all the basic functions of creating signatures, schema and API, and Z-Mix library to create zero-knowledge protocol.
Recall that in October, the enterprise Ethereum Alliance (EEA) and Hyperledger joined forces to spread blockchain technologies in the business environment.
Companies from the financial services, logistics, Internet of things, manufacturing and technology industries have also joined Hyperledger blockchain consortium. For example, in August, a Group of European banks conducted the first cross-border financial transactions on the blockchain in real time on the jointly developed IBM blockchain and Hyperledger Fabric technology platform we.trade.
