IOHK Launches Daedalus 1.0.0 Mainnet Wallet
IOHK, which is a Blockchain research & development company, has recently released Daedalus 1.0.0 mainnet wallet, which is now available to all Cardano users, official website of Cardano reports.
The wallet, which has been developed within 18 months, brings some new features to the Cardano ecosystem. Among them are background blockchain synchronization and heightened security.
Deadulus insures stability as well as security. When it comes to synchronization time, the wallet has a significant advantage. If it takes days to synchronize Bitcoin or Ethereum blockchain, the Daedalus wallet does this within only 50 minutes to approximately 2 hours for all the users. With this step Cardano become the leader in the market regarding full node wallets. What about the wallet restoration, it takes only around 20 to 30 minutes.
Founder and CEO of IOHK Charles Hoskinson noted that the release of the wallet will provide the team the option to begin the works on ledger support, paper wallets & fast deployments of other beta tools.
