At the time of writing, the 2,457 Bitcoin figure translates to around $136 million. Riot Blockchain has revealed that compared to the year 2020, it has mined 246% more Bitcoin since the beginning of 2021.
Riot Blockchain has also provided details around the Bitcoin has mined in the month of September 2021, compared to the month of September 2020. The firm has revealed that compared to September 2020, the Bitcoin it has mined in September of 2021 has increased four times.
In the month of September 2020, Riot Blockchain had reportedly mined 91 Bitcoin. On the other hand, in the month of September 2021, it successfully mined 406 Bitcoin. This is a significant jump for Riot Blockchain in terms of mining Bitcoin.
Riot Blockchain has also revealed the total number of Bitcoin it currently has under its possession. The firm has revealed that it currently has 3,534 Bitcoin in its possession. At the time of writing, the mentioned Bitcoin accumulation translates to around $195.6 million.
The firm has also confirmed that this is an accumulation from the mining activities only, and not a single Bitcoin has been acquired through direct purchases or exchanges.
