ROBINHOOD Expands Commission-Free Cryptocurrency Trading In The State Of Georgia, USA
The American financial company Robinhood, headquartered in Menlo Park, California, lately declared that residents of Georgia can now apply the Robinhood Crypto service, which will enable them to buy and sell bitcoin, bitcoin cash, ethereum, litecoin and dogecoin.
The company’s cryptocurrency trading service is slowly being introduced in the US. At the beginning, it was available only in four States, and now in 18.
The notification regarding the above mentioned information came soon after the company included bitcoin cash, litecoin, and dogecoin to the platform. Its cryptocurrency trading service is developing somewhat thanks to financing, where the company raised $363 million at an estimated $5.6 billion.
Robinhood is not the only company that offers users of cryptocurrencies freely accessible trading services. The Square’s Cash app, led by Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, has included options for buying and selling cryptocurrencies this year.
The famous payment service Skrill included at the end of last month the option to buy and sell cryptocurrencies, accessible to users in more than 30 countries. It services offer support for more than 40 Fiat currency for bitcoin, bitcoin, cash, litecoin, and ether.
Particularly, these platforms seem to act as custodians, as users often do not get access to their own private keys when buying cryptocurrencies through them. Instead, they are allowed to buy, sell and store their cryptocurrencies and few allow them to transfer funds.
