THE “YELLOW VESTS” WILL SOON HAVE THEIR OWN CRYPTOCURRENCY

French media reported the launch of a cryptocurrency site called GiletJaunceCoin, created for the participants of the “yellow vests” movement. The site does not contain any information about the team of the project and there is a possibility that the creators of the custom token are not directly related to the wave of anti-government protests, but simply decided to use the current topic for their commercial purposes.

Unknown activists are launching a cryptocurrency aimed at supporters and participants of the protest movement “yellow vests” in France. The token was named GiletJaunceCoin (GJCO). His official slogan is: “Regain your freedom!”.

Meanwhile, the website of the project has no information about the team or its individual representatives, as well as a detailed description of the project. Links to the wallet, block browser and source code on Github do not work, only a link to the GJCO mining pool is available. Perhaps this project is just a fake, which is created to “ride the HYIP” protest movement.

Initially, the “yellow vests” took to the streets to protest against the decision of the French government to raise the price of gasoline. Then the list of requirements was expanded and was supplemented by mass criticism of state policy. The protest movement emerged spontaneously and has no official leaders.

In November, French Finance Minister Bruno Le Mayor said that the government will soon introduce a tax on income from investments in cryptocurrencies, which will be similar to the current tax on income from capital. At the same time, small investments in crypto assets will be exempted from taxes.
